Worden Arts and Craft Centre is surrounded by 157 acres of parkland and is ideal for a family day out. Opened in 1984, the centre occupies the remaining buildings of Worden Hall, home of the Farrington family until 1947. The centre houses a fully-equipped theatre, 6 craft workshops, a coffee shop and an exhibition display room. Features include a miniature railway, a maze, a garden for the blind, an arboretum, a children's play area and picnic area. A visitor centre is open, displaying photographs of Worden, Farrington family onwards, Leyland in 1900 and also Preston.
